— from Congressman Rick Larsen’s office —
Rep. Rick Larsen (WA-02) released the second in a recurring series of posts to highlight some of the people across Washington’s Second District that the office has assisted with casework.
In this second post, you can read about how the office supported Zac, a former Eastsound resident who reached out for help processing an immigrant visa application.
In May 2018, Zac reached out for help with processing a visa application. Zac was living with his wife and child in Japan while they waited for final approval of his wife’s application. Zac was scheduled to begin a master’s program in Seattle in August 2018 and wanted the family to move to the U.S. at that time. Read the rest of Zac’s story and how Larsen’s office supported Zac here.
As a Member of Congress, Larsen is here to help support constituents and serve as a liaison with federal agencies. The office can support requests to clarify determinations, track the progress of applications or appeals and work with federal agencies to address specific issues constituents are facing.
Residents in the Second District can reach out to the Everett District Office at 425-252-3188 for assistance with a federal agency.
During the 115th Congress, between Jan. 3, 2017, and Jan. 3, 2019, Larsen’s office helped 617 people who live in the Second District and recouped more than $2.77 million dollars in federal benefits.
