— from Sustainable Orcas Island —

Come to the Orcas Island Library in Eastsound this Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm for a hands-on seed cleaning workshop with Katie Wilkins.

We will practice threshing and winnowing seeds to get them ready for storage, and discuss seed growing and saving techniques for crops that interest you. There will be dry beans and grains to practice with, but please feel free to bring seeds of your own to clean and/or swap if you like.

Workshop is free, although donations are accepted. Free homemade snacks!

We will meet on the lawn outside the library, on the west side of the building facing library park. Rain or shine–look for the pop-up tent.

Please email Katie if you have any questions: katieannwilkins@gmail.com
