“The work of this task force is incredibly important and instrumental in making sure legislators can focus on our number one priority starting on the first day of the legislative session.
“Task force members were charged with developing recommendations about how to accomplish the remaining steps of fully funding basic education, including educator compensation and revenue sources. This is a big lift. I appreciate that the Democratic task force members today released a set of recommendations, and I am looking forward to seeing further recommendations from the Republican members as the task force approaches its Jan. 9 deadline.
