— from Sandy Strehlou —
School is almost out. Island Girl Recycled Crayons is in search of used and broken crayons. We would like to take those broken, unwanted crayons off your hands before they get tossed in the trash.
Email sandy@strehlou.com and thank you.

Can’t help asking “What do you do with them?” What a great service since I hate to throw anything away.
They make the coolest “new” crayons out of them which make great gifts or just great new upcycled art supplies.
Gail, thanks for asking. The heart photo shows the upcycled crayons we make. Each durable heart crayon is made from the equivalent of 5-6 crayons. It is a labor of love created out of our kitchen during the fall and winder months.
