Leslie Seaman, who often provides school supplies for Orcas students, recently gave dictionaries to third graders at Salmonberry School, on behalf of the Orcas Grange.
Salmonberry teacher Tom Rawson provided a reflection by third grader Kiyomi Farish: “I went home and wrote about my day.I wanted to use a whole bunch of very interesting words I would look for meanings and use those words instead of the ones with boring meanings. I think it is great that I have my own dictionary.”

There are frequently articles in the Grange newspaper about giving dictionaries to various schools around the state, but I’ve never heard about our kids getting any before. Thanks Leslie!
