Funhouse Commons and Orcas Island High School are teaming up for the annual post-high school “Futures Fair” for Orcas Island high school students Tuesday, October 3 through Thursday, October 5.
The Funhouse is bringing expert college counseling consultant, Susanna Cerasuolo M. Ed., for a full schedule of presentations at Orcas Island High School for both parents and students. These presentations will focus on college admission, high school curricular choices, standardized test performance, college choices, the college application process, and specifics every potential college student should know. Don’t miss her presentation, “College Admissions 101” at the School Library at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3.
David Aramaki, College Financing Expert, will offer an evening event for parents at the School Library at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4. In his talk, “Sending Your Child to College,” he will be discussing financial aid strategies, tax issues affecting savings plans, college funding options, and more. This is a great talk for parents with students of ALL ages. Treats and coffee will be served.
Both Susanna Cerasulo and David Aramaki will also be offering one-on-one advisory sessions with families that are specific to each student’s needs. These sessions fill up fast.
There is no charge for these sessions, but the Funhouse welcomes donations to help cover the costs of inviting these top experts to our community.
Please call Emilie at the Funhouse, 360-376-7177 or email emilie@thefunhouse.org for more details or to schedule an individual session.
