||| FROM MANDY TROXEL for LUM FARM |||
Saturdays: March 25th, April 1st and 8th, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Lum Farm, located at Coffelt Farm Preserve (1071 Crow Valley Road) invites you to celebrate Spring with our newest crop of babies! For the next three Saturdays, islanders (and visitors) of all ages are invited to come bask in the sun (hopefully) alongside our 2023 lamb and goat kids.
This event is free, but donations are gratefully accepted and will go towards further upkeep and upgrades of the new petting zoo area. Please leave your dogs at home (or in your vehicle). Parking is limited; here’s to some community patience and pacing of visits over the next few weeks.
The Lum Farmstand will be open and stocked with meats, cheeses from the dairy, ice cream and wool gifts, all produced on the farm. The 2023 milking season is just revving up, so dairy items are limited, but a fully stocked cheese and ice cream freezer is just around the corner.
Regular Lum Farmstand hours are currently Thursdays through Saturdays, noon to 5pm. Online ordering and week-long contactless pickup is available at www.lumfarmorcas.com. For those who want to enjoy some additional baby-watching there is a self-guided farm walk available during all farmstand hours. Just park in the farmstand parking lot and follow the signs.
For more information, please visit our website at www.lumfarmorcas.com or email lumfarmorders@gmail.com.
