Early Birds, an annual event that brings out the Chamber Music faithful
Douglas Ellis was the first to arrive at Orcas Center at 4:20 am on May 25th, followed quickly by Sandy Huie at 4:25 am. That gave them first choice to select their seats for the 14th Annual Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival tickets.
Mary Poletti leads this “Early Bird” tradition every year, which gives Orcas Islanders the opportunity to purchase tickets before phone sales and online sales open to the general public later in the day. These enthusiastic concert-goers are greeted with Mary’s famous apple cake, along with eye-opening coffee and other irresistible goodies.
The Chamber Music Festival runs August 12th through August 27th, and tickets can be purchased online at www.oicmf.org or by calling the Box Office Thursday through Saturday from noon to 4 pm @ 376-2281.
