Eastsound Water Users Association (EWUA) is hosting its annual membership meeting on Tuesday August 16th at 6:30 pm At the Eastsound Fire Hall, 45 Lavender Lane.

This meeting will have a number of important components.
 VOTING BOOTH – meet and vote for your EWUA Board Members. Three of our seven Board positions are open for election. Fred Klein, Dan Vekved, Clyde Duke and Joe Cohen have already expressed interest in being on the ballot. Others are welcome to express interest, and be placed on the ballot. (deadline for ballot inclusion, AUG 10). Please call Paul Kamin at 376-2127.
 Demonstration of EWUA’s new automated water meter reading system. Learn how to LOGIN to the system, review your daily water use, your historic water use, and program leak detection email and text alerts from your individual service meter. See how we can save millions of gallons of water with this new system.
 Review water system improvement projects completed in 2015.
 Learn about EWUA’s upcoming “member engagement process” to discuss future rate structures, and the current rate concerns of the systems highest water users.

No Reservations are needed, but we hope you’ll come and join us. Put it on your Calendar – AUGUST 16, 6:30 p.m. at the Eastsound Fire Hall. Call 360 376 2127 with any questions.

The current Board includes (term expiration): Brian Ehrmantraut (2017), Fred Klein(2016), Bob Connell (2018), Patrick Shepler (2017), Dan Vekved (2016) and William Burlew (2018).

Member participation is important to maintaining a responsive association. Please make plans to attend if possible. Should you not be able to attend, please return ONE of the following proxies. Proxies may be mailed to: EWUA, PO BOX 115, Eastsound, WA 98245, or dropped off at EWUA #B102, 286 Enchanted Forest Rd., Eastsound.
