Artists, galleries and businesses are getting ready to stay open for the Summer Series: Uptown to Downtown Eastsound Artwalk! We kick off the festivities on May 26th at 5pm-8pm.
Over 23 art venues in Eastsound are participating in the Artwalks, to be held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday 5 to 8 p.m. May through October.

Now the only thing left is to provide some innovative interactive “street art”: upright pianos decorated in vivid designs for playing (covered over at night); easels placed appropriately with drawing/painting utensils for passers-by to doodle/create; a few baskets of rhythm instruments along the way…secured by strings, if necessary; a live person videoing peoples’ “impromptu” skits; more???

A wonderful opportunity for roaming musicians and singers. Great for a Capella groups, stand up comics, actors, jugglers, magicians, artists and much more.
