DH Bridge Progress Report

Crews will be excavating and creating the support structure for cofferdams along the alignment of the new concrete bridge, which will occupy essentially the same footprint as the original
bridge.

Cofferdams are watertight enclosures pumped dry so that construction work can be done below the waterline.

Last week, crews removed the original bridge and opened the detour bridge.
