There will be no construction activity on Monday, September 5, due to the Labor Day holiday. Crews will complete the new Channel Road alignment at the west project limits, transfer traffic to the temporary bridge, and begin demolition of the existing bridge.
CenturyLink is trying to locate cable to move their telephone line to the temporary bridge.
This delay may cause future problems. Please drive slowly.
Safety comes first, and pedestrians are asked to please stay out of construction areas, even when no construction activity is visible.
