With the holiday shopping season underway, the Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce offers its support of our local business community with a contest that rewards 4 lucky local shoppers with a $50 cash gift each!
To have their names entered in the contest, shoppers simply stop by the Chamber of Commerce office and fill out a card explaining “Why they Shop Orcas Island.” The contest begins Friday, November 30 and continues through Saturday, December 8. The Chamber office is located at 65 North Beach Road, and is open Monday – Saturday (10 am – 3 pm). One entry per person. Must be age 18 or older to enter.
Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lance Evans believes local businesses are vital to the community. “Our small businesses are the backbone of our economy. They do so much for all aspects of our island, they deserve support from the local residents. The value of a dollar spent locally can’t be overstated,” Evans noted.
