— from Justin Paulsen —

As many have heard, Chama Anderson, the founder of the Orcas Lady Vikings Soccer Team and the only coach in the history of Orcas Island to lead a team to a State Championship, was injured in an auto accident on June 10th.  Chama’s spirit and impact on our community reached far and wide and she remains an icon in the Orcas Island Coaching world.

Those helping with her care have set up a page on the CaringBridge site to keep everyone updated and informed.  Her friends and members of our community have been encouraged to use that site as a means to communicate our well wishes, prayers and let Chama know that Orcas Island is thinking of her.

Please take a moment and let Chama know that while Orcas is miles away, we are all right there with her in her recovery.  Just click here https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/chamaanderson
