— from the Rev. Berto Gándara-Perea, Rector, Emmanuel Episcopal Parish–
Emmanuel Episcopal Parish and the Lutheran Church in the San Juans will celebrate the feast of St. Francis of Assisi on Sunday, October 4th with Communion services at 8 a.m., 10 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.
There will be a blessing of animals at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. around the labyrinth. Bring your pets, or a photo of them, to give thanks to the Creator for their companionship and to ask for God’s blessing upon these faithful companions. We will meet at the labyrinth.
The Lutheran congregation will have another opportunity for blessing at 2:30 p.m. if you cannot make it for the 11:30am blessing.
