Thursday, July 23 – 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Public School Garden
— from Farm to Cafeteria Committee —
The community is invited to come to the garden and learn how to make a healing salve from dried Calendula flowers and take home the tin of salve you made. Calendula is an anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, astringent, antifungal, antiviral and immunostimulant for disinfecting and treating minor skin irritations and infections.
The fee is just $5 to cover costs.
