This Sunday evening, Sept. 27, go outside for a rare showing of a supermoon and total lunar eclipse — a Blood Moon.
This will be the first time in more than three decades that we’ve seen this combination. The full eclipse begins at 7:11 p.m. PST.
NW Coast artist Andy Everson writes, “The maximum eclipse is at 7:47pm here on the west coast. We’ll at least be able to see the latter phases.”
