Blessing of the Animals in observance of St. Francis Day, 2014

The feast of Francis of Assisi is on October 4th. We at Emmanuel Episcopal Parish invite you to join us on the labyrinth to give thanks for the gift of our animals and pets on Sunday October 1, 2017. You are welcome to bring your pets or we will have an opportunity to say their names aloud, if you leave them at home.

Join us at 10 a.m .for Holy Communion (pets welcome in church!) and the blessing will be at the labyrinth after Communion around 11:15 a.m.

Please include blessings and prayers for protection for all the displaced animals by the Airport vegetation removal – much forests are being destroyed and many birds, deer, frogs, bats, and other creatures will die or lose their homes. Thank you.
