The Orcas Center has chosen The Addams Family – The Musical as the fall show leading the 2017-2018 season. This weird and wonderful family comes to devilishly delightful life on the Orcas Center’s main stage opening the 26th of October and Closing October 31st on Halloween night. The musical will run for 6 performances.

In addition to this awesome news, we’d like to welcome a guest director and choreographer from Seattle, Samuel J. Auditions are August 29 and 30 at 6 p.m. on Center Stage. Sam would like anyone auditioning to bring about 16 bars of music (about a minute of singing). It can be on CD, or by piano and accompanist, or acapella if you so choose. Also, Sam would like see some prepared acting material – a short speech or poem would be great. A sign-up sheet for auditions will be posted at the front door of the Orcas Center. Everyone is welcome – these auditions are completely open to all. Call backs will be held August 30 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.. From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. that night, Sam will work with the choreography and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sam will work with the actors reading sides from the play. See you there.
