As of late last week I was told the local EAA Chapter is cancelling the Orcas Fly-In due to new COVID cases on the island. I am sure we will still have many campers as usual.
Also, as of this morning we have 1600 gallons of 100LL fuel remaining. In the last week we sold 1365 gallons and I’m guessing that we will sell out by the beginning of next week. We will have several days without fuel, until the next delivery on Aug. 6, 2021.
Plan accordingly for flights. This is a reminder also to call ahead to any airport you may want fuel from. I have been reading about other airports being out of fuel.
