Denise Wilk, of Eclipse Charters and the Orcas Island Historical Society, reported on April 1 that “Lady April,” voted Mayor of Eastsound in the 2011 Children’s House fundraiser, is mooo’ved by love for the “Bison Bard of Beastsound,” otherwise known as Bison Antiquus.
The Bovine is at her home pasture across North Beach Road from the Funhouse Commons. The Bison inhabits the Historical Museum Hallway, in “downtown” Eastsound.
