Ever sit in the theater watching a movie or a play and think, “I can do that!” ?
The 2009 Play Fest, sponsored by Actors Theater of Orcas Island, has seven wonderful plays written by Orcas playwrights and we are seeking 17 actors, of both genders and a variety of ages (10-80). Performances will be 7:30 p.m. April 30, May 1, 2 and 3 at the Grange. Rehearsals will be during the month of April.
First time actor, Lin McNulty, had this to say about her participation in the 2008 Play Fest, “I loved having the audience there. I felt an energy exchange between the stage and the audience that defies logical explanation. It was an interaction that I’d never experienced before, and I am anxious to go there again- simply amazing!”
Auditions will be held at the Grange on both March 21, from 1 to 4 p.m. and on March 24, 7 to 10 p.m. (you need only attend one audition).
