Orcas Island Library’s ‘Art in the Library’ exhibit for the month of December features the work of Andrea Cohen. Entitled Retrospect, the show looks back at Andrea’s art from the near and distant past, and includes work in assemblage, painting, lithography and etching.
In Andrea’s words: “Through the years and in all the places I’ve lived, art has been my way to find myself, and to assemble the scraps and bits of experience, emotion and identity.” Her art often incorporates two and three-dimensional elements, found objects and painting in a uniquely personal style.

I am very excited to see the vast range of Andrea’s art at the library.
