Orcas Island Fire and Rescue understands that Life Flight has expanded their operations and is advertising their resource for air medical transport in San Juan County. We have been informed that Life Flight has a reciprocal agreement with AirLift Northwest and encourage county residents to contact these agencies to learn more about the services provided and how their respective memberships provide reciprocity.
Orcas Island Fire and Rescue has a good working relationship with both AirLift Northwest and Island Air Ambulance and will continue to utilize their services to provide air medical transport for EMS patients as needed.
And what about another flier we received from MASA, Medical Transport Systems? Seems to be for “retirees and medicare recipients”. They had a couple of meetings in Friday Harbor.
But why do we get the ads when we are already members? That seems odd to me…
