The Orcas Island Historical Society’s WOWZA raffle with prizes totaling over $12,000 ends September 4 on the Village Green. Tickets will continue to be available at the Museum and the Chamber of Commerce during all open hours. In addition, tickets will be sold at the Island Market on August 26 and September 3 from 3-6 pm, and the Summer Series Finale Music in the Park on August 27.
Join Cindy Wolfe, our councilwoman, as she draws the winning tickets for 3 amazing prizes: a 2013 Nissan Leaf e-car generously donated by Island E Cars, a “Uniquely Orcas Bag” filled with gift certificates for local restaurants and experiences, art and products, and “A Day at the Beach” which includes a day at the private Willis Beach in Olga, a stand-up paddle board, a life vest, lunch, and beach toys!
There will be entertainment by local musicians, Kellen and Pedro starting at 1 p.m. and the drawing will be held at 2 p.m. on the Village Green.
