The Writers Roundtable, scheduled for Saturday, June 22, will feature John Friedmann discussing “This Is My Poetry”
John will be reading from his own poems, interspersed with poetry that has been meaningful for him over the years by other English-American poets.
John Friedmann is an Honorary Professor in the School of Community and Regional Planning at the University of British Columbia. His latest book is entitled Insurgencies: Essays in Planning Theory, published by Routledge in 2011. Poetry is his avocation.
The Roundtable will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Library. All are welcome!
