Saturday, March 28, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., Wolf Hollow
— from Shona Aitken for Wolf Hollow Wildlife Rehabilitation Center —
Have you ever wondered how big an enclosure you need to get a Bald Eagle conditioned for release, or how we can care for Harbor Seal pups when we’re nowhere near the seashore? This is your opportunity to find out.
You are invited to come for a guided tour of our facility, to meet staff, board members and volunteers, and find out more about the work we do.
No wild patients will be on display, but this is our quieter time of year, so we can show people our facility without disturbing any wild creatures.
Parking at Wolf Hollow is extremely limited, so please park in Friday Harbor and take advantage of the free shuttle bus generously donated by San Juan Transit. The shuttle will leave from outside the Grange
(152 N First St), at 11, 12, 1 and 2 p.m. and leave Wolf Hollow 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and 3 p.m.
We look forward to seeing you!
