Joann Frances and Sylvia Biddick take it easy between beyond-busy seasons

Joann Frances and Sylvia Biddick take it easy between beyond-busy seasons. Joann holds one of  Eastsound’s canine office workers,  Rumi, who is named in honor of the Persian poet who founded the whirling dervishes.

A drizzly, miserable northwest day. Work to be done, calls to be made, emails to read and return.

And then you come across role model businesswomen Joann Frances and Sylvia Biddick relaxing at Enzo’s window table with cups of coffee and a Scrabble game.

The two are taking a break from their consignment furniture business,  Trading Post. They worked steadily over the holiday season, taking only Christmas Day off work.

With lots of new inventory, they plan to re-open today Friday, February 15.

And then you’ll be lucky to catch them at Enzo’s or anywhere outside their shop!
