Former FHHS students get certified by Google to become Google Trusted Photographers.
Mahius & Kristina Concord will be giving local businesses an opportunity to publish the inside of their location to Google Street View—a part of Google Maps that has so far been elusive to the San Juan Islands.
The photography service provides a fully interactive Google virtual tour of the business that gets published across Google properties, as well as a full set of still photos that highlight the business. The Google tour will be published to the business listing, Google maps, and can be found on the front page of Google searches.
The still photos can be anything to highlight the business from product photography to food photography. The tour and photos can then be added to a website or Facebook. The program known as “Google Business Photos” is perfect for hotels, restaurants, car dealerships, boutiques, and much more.
The Concords also partnered with Expedia to put 360 degree panoramas on hotel business listings. Those interested in seeing examples can visit the Evolving Photography website, or see a 360-degree Google tour of the Friday Harbor House.
The photographers will be conducting photo-shoots for a limited time this December. This is a great opportunity to show your business to the world! To learn more or sign up, contact Mahius or Kristina Concord at 805-423-9131, or via email.
