Rev. Barbara Gilday will lead the service on Sunday, Oct. 14, for the Orcas Island Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Her topic will be “Where are we going? From Peace Corps to sofa surfing to gap years and modern-day nomads; from strict religious separatism to diversity to inclusiveness, even merging. What does it all mean? Are you coming too? Is this the time for UUs to come into their own?”
OIUUF meets at 11:00 a.m. on the second and fourth Sundays of each month, September through June. The service is held at the West Sound Community Hall, 884 Deer Harbor Road at Crow Valley Road in West Sound. All are welcome. For more information, visit the OIUUF website at www.orcasislanduu.org. If you need help getting to the service, visit the “Reach Us” page on the website.
