A sweeping Biden-era initiative to restore Columbia Basin salmon runs, boost tribal energy development and provide a pathway for dam removal on the Lower Snake River has been canceled by President Donald Trump.
A presidential memorandum issued Thursday revoked the 2023 Resilient Columbia Basin Agreement, which Trump stated “placed concerns about climate change above the Nation’s interests in reliable energy sources.”
A statement from the White House said Trump’s action “stops the green agenda in the Columbia River Basin.”
The memorandum directs cabinet secretaries to withdraw from agreements stemming from “Biden’s misguided executive action.” The agencies were directed to coordinate with the White House’s Council on Environmental Quality to review and revise environmental reviews related to the agreement, including a revised environmental impact statement underway on dam operations on the Columbia and Snake rivers.

So what I read about this is that the four upper dams are the real problem, the four lower Dams is where the energy is stored, as water, for the state but that they have fish ladders and the fish can get up them. The real problem is the upper dams, so couching it is an environmental thing is not accurate. Why not remove the upper dams, and keep the lower. And no one has described where is Washington’s power going to come from as an alternative to hydroelectric dams. I am all for removing all dams. There are many what would be called free energy type technologies that are suppressed by the fossil fuel industry, such as the water engine, where are you separate hydrogen and oxygen, burn the hydrogen and the hydrogen produces more than enough electricity, to run the hydrogen and oxygen separation process, it’s an over unity engine. There are other inventions, many many things that I’ve been suppressed and we are taught don’t exist. Well they do exist, and there are plenty of ways to get around dams and have plenty of power. so if people can stop believing the social controllers of your lives who lie to you continually, and do their own critical thinking and research, then we can have a new earth, with healthy habitat for everything.
