The Week Ahead: Looking for the Calendar?

A New Addition to Orcas Issues!

It’s now easier than ever to see at-a-glance what’s happening on Orcas Island. You can now click on our new Calendar in the sidebar to easily access current and upcoming events at any time.

We invite you, our readers, to look to the date on the sidebar calendar for more information about the listing that you’re particularly interested in. If you hover over any date that’s blue, a small pop-up shows you the events on that date. You can then click on the event of your choice for more information (including directions, price and registration). You can either view all of the activities in “Calendar View,” or as an “Event List.”

For a couple more weeks, we will continue to post a summary of events for the week, but will eventually migrate to just the calendar. We hope you will find this new feature as exciting as we do.
