This Orcas Senior Center is heading to the big leagues, and you are invited. The Senior Center is excited to take a trip to Safeco Field on Sunday, September 18, to watch the Seattle Mariners versus the Houston Astros. They’ll see if the home field advantage pays off, and are in for a good time regardless.
The cost of this trip is generously underwritten by two local businesses to make this trip affordable. The Senior Center thanks Smuggler’s Villa and West Sound Marina for their sponsorships. The outing is made even more affordable through OICF grant funds to further drop the price to just $30 per Senior Center member and $40 for non-members. This heavily-subsidized price covers the game ticket and all of the transportation for the outing.
The community is invited and encouraged to join the Senior Center which is currently in its annual membership drive (see orcaseseniors.org for more information), and then sign up for this special field trip at the member rate of just $30. Hop aboard the bus for a day of baseball and camaraderie, sharing an American past-time.
