||| FROM BETHANY MARIE for ORCAS CENTER |||
Join us on the Village Green on Sunday, June 15 starting at 5pm for the first Summer Concert series event presented by Orcas Center, Doe Bay Resort, GiveOrcas/OICF, and San Juan County.
Enjoy a powerhouse evening of original music, bringing together three great groups who’ve helped define the Pacific Northwest’s modern sound. From folk-rock storytelling to electric energy and Americana soul, this one-night-only concert will be a celebration of artistic connection and musical diversity:
Hank Lemon and Naked Giants
The solo project of Henry LaVallee, drummer and co-founder of Naked Giants, Hank Lemon explores acoustic songwriting through a folk-rock lens. Channeling Dylan and Fairport Convention, Hank’s music draws from life on the road and resonates with both raw emotion and seasoned perspective.
Navid Eliot
Frontman of ‘Bodies On The Beach’ and ‘Planes On Paper,’ Navid Eliot is a celebrated songwriter whose work has been featured by NPR, The Kennedy Center, and major radio stations across the country. His solo sets blend personal narrative with nods to the greats, showcasing his lyrical depth and melodic craft.
Tekla & Jeff
Seattle-based singer-songwriter Tekla Waterfield fuses folk, country, roots, rock, and soul into a singular sonic palette, driven by her expressive voice and poetic storytelling. Performing alongside her husband, acclaimed guitarist/producer Jeff Fielder (The Indigo Girls, Mark Lanegan, Duff McKagan), the duo delivers lush, harmony-rich performances rooted in contemporary American roots.
Don’t miss this fun in the summer sun! Another great FREE concert thanks to donations from local supporters and businesses!
