Lights, Action … on you and/or yours!
Come to the inaugural Center Stage Open Mic! An evening of local talent, hosted by Gordon Koenig and Anita Orne on Saturday, May 23 at 7:30 pm. We will provide the microphone and lights, and away you go!
This is a showcase of all local talents ages 10 and over. Be you a singer/songwriter, a singer, musician, slam poet, dancer, performance artist or other live performance form, here’s your chance to be on the big stage, to practice live entertaining in front of a live audience!
Here are a few parameters to keep in mind when putting your live act together:
1) Anyone 10 years or older is welcome to perform
2) Come with your live* act well-prepared (*all instrumentals, etc. must be live; no backing tracks)
3) Sign up for your performance the night of the event
4) Please keep your acts to 10 minutes and 3 songs or less
And everyone else come on over to Orcas Center and enjoy and support these live local performers.
