Howie Klausner, former Orcas Island resident and Hollywood screen writer, is back on the island for a special screening of his new indie feature, “The Secret Handshake,” Starring Kevin Sorbo and Amy Grant. The movie was filmed in Nashville and is directed by Klausner and produced by Timothy D. Brown.
“The Secret Handshake” is a heartwarming comedy of men and boys learning together what it takes to be a man. A reception to welcome the Klausners will start at 6:30pm. A question and answer will follow the feature presentation with Howie and his young stars of the movie – his girls! Come say hello and learn about what it takes to be a screen writer and a film producer. Tickets are $10.00 and available at the door.
