15-005464 Wanted Person 09:51:45 09/09/15
Lopez Island Deputies arrested a wanted person on 09/10/15. The person was arrested for a California felony warrant. The subject was subsequently transported to the San Juan County jail to await extradition to California.
15-005470 Animal at Large 14:46:49 09/09/15
A Lopez Island Deputy responded to a dog at large complaint on 09/09/15. The dog was located and returned to the dog owner. The Deputy issued the dog owner a dog at large warning letter.
15-005474 Trespassing 18:36:21 09/09/15
On 9-9-15 at 1836 hours a Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a trespass in the 1200 block of Argyle Ave. The suspect was given a trespass warning.
15-005475 Missing Person 18:41:36 09/09/15
A Lopez Island Deputy received a missing person report on 09/09/15. It was determined that the person, who suffered from dementia, boarded the wrong ferry from Anacortes. She was subsequently placed on the correct ferry and reunited with the reporting person.
15-005480 Theft 22:40:52 09/09/15
Citizen reported a large amount of rare coins were removed from their Friday Harbor Residence. The coins were silver dollars and some were from the 1850s.

On 9-10-15 at 2227 hours a Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a suspicious circumstance in the 500 block of Tucker Ave.

15-005504 Unwanted Person 02:52:20 09/11/15
On September 11, 2015 at approximately 0300, a Lopez deputy was dispatched for a suspicious knock at the door. The deputy checked the area and did not find any sign of trespassers.

The Olga water company reported a tent behind their water tower. No one was there and the camping equipment was taken in as found property.

An unknown person took an item from a woman’s purse in Eastsound.

Reporting party states she was having trouble with her son and they were arguing.

Dog owner was given a verbal warning for his barking dogs.

On 9-12-15 at 1535 hours a subject walked into the Sheriff’s Office in FridayHarbor to turn herself in on a warrant. She was booked into the Jail for thewarrants.
15-005533 Theft 16:20:34 09/12/15
On September 12, 2015 at about 1630 hours, I was dispatched to an Eastsound address on the report of a bicycle theft. The Reporting Person had her “Next” brand white mountain bicycle stolen. A report was taken.
15-005534 Found Property 16:52:21 09/12/15
On September 12, 2015 at about 1700 hours, an Orcas resident found a Bank card in the streets of Eastsound. The card was turned in. The card appears to not belong to a resident. A report was made.
15-005536 Animal at Large 17:10:23 09/12/15
A Lopez Island Deputy received a dog after it was picked up walking alone along the road. The dog was wearing no tag. The Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate the dog’s owner.

On September 01, 2015 I found a VHS video cassette tape in its box at the Orcas Island High School grounds. No one was there to claim it. I collected the item and booked it into Evidence.

On 09/13/15 at approximately 1906 hours, a Deputy received a report of an apparent harassment incident on Orcas Island. It was found that the suspect threatened the victim’s property. The case has been submitted to the prosecutor’s office for charging decisions.

On the date and time noted, Complainant arrived at Dispatch with the listed item. BROWN stated she had found the handmade leather wallet and contents in the road, near the southbound guardrail at Roche Harbor Rd & Terrace Dr. There was no cash in the wallet, other than a single penny.

ON 09/14/15 at 0816 hours an older female was trespassed from the Family Resource Center on Market St.and the Mullis Sr. Center in Friday Harbor, WA. The female is transient and has been camping out at several local churches and businesses. I requested an EMS response. The female subject refused medical

On September 14, 2015 a Lopez deputy responded to a reported theft at the Lopez ferry terminal. A backpack full of school supplies was removed from one vehicle, the contents removed, and the backpack deposited in another vehicle. Investigation continues.
15-005581 Domestic Dispute or Assault 21:35:26 09/14/15
On 09/14/15 at approximately 2135 hours, deputies responded to a report of a domestic violence assault in progress. Further investigation determined that the incident was verbal by nature and no arrests were made.

15-005594 Traffic Violation 12:51:45 09/15/15
A Lopez Island Deputy responded to an attempted vehicular assault complaint on 09/15/15. It was determined that the incident was unintentional and resulted from a misunderstanding while a ferry employee was attempting to direct a motorist who was boarding a ferry. No further action will be taken.
15-005599 Disorderly Conduct 15:13:34 09/15/15
A Lopez Island Deputy responded to a disorderly conduct complaint on 09/15/15. It was determined that several people almost struck a pedestrian while they were clinging to a moving vehicle while on skateboards. The suspects were located and apologized. The reporting person declined pressing charges.
