14-005617: Traffic Crime—An Orcas Island male adult was stopped for speeding and received a Speeding Citation and a Criminal Citation for Driving While License Suspended.
14-005620: Citizen Dispute—An Orcas Island woman returned home to find a portion of her fence removed and replaced by the neighbor’s fence. The deputy responded and settled the situation by contact.

14-005644: Fraud—An Orcas Island woman reported unauthorized use of her credit card. The woman realized there were several unauthorized charges to her only account. The charges were made to the Ferry Services. The investigation remains open.
14-005649: Drugs—A Lopez deputy responded to a call of a juvenile male in possession of a “bud” of marijuana. Case remains under investigation.
14-005653: Suspicious—A Lopez deputy responded to the ferry landing to investigate a suspicious circumstance. An adult male who flew in from California to do electrical work on Lopez was carrying various electrical parts for the job. The subject left his bags in the care of someone he did not know and that person did not know him. When the owner of the bags did not immediately make contact with the other party, the other party became suspicious and opened a couple of bags. Finding the electrical parts the other party took all five (5) pieces of luggage and threw them overboard to protect the ferry and passengers. The case is civil in nature.

14-005666: Wanted Person—Working with information provided to them, a Lopez deputy responded to the place of business to a report of a wanted male adult and took him into custody without problem.
14-005669: Theft—An Orcas deputy responded to reported theft of merchandise from the Orcas Village Store. The suspect left the area possibly on the Anacortes boat that was loading. It was determine no crime had been committed since the merchandise was recovered prior to the suspect leaving the store.
14-005673: DUI/MIP—An Orcas deputy provided with specific information concerning a possible DUI contacted a 19 year old male who was in a vehicle and in the company of younger teenagers. The deputy completed a consent search and found several cans and bottles of alcoholic beverage. The male was arrested and cited for DUI and a teenage female was referred to the Juvenile Department as a Minor in Possession of Alcohol.

14-00567: Found Property—A San Juan deputy found property and turned it in to the dispatch center. The property is being held and will be picked up by the owner.
14-005683: Suicide Attempt—Lopez deputies responded to an alleged suicide threat. The incident involved a family disagreement and it was determined there was no suicide threat or attempt.
14-005687: Accident, Non-injury—A Lopez deputy responded to a reported accident near the Lopez dump. The damage did not meet the criteria to complete Washington State Collision Report.
14-005701: Accident, Hit and Run—A San Juan deputy responded to a reported hit and run accident in a commercial parking lot. The investigating deputy estimated the damage at $2000. No suspect information at this time.
14-005706: Juvenile Runaway—A Lopez deputy responded to a reported runaway child. Upon his arrival the request was cancelled.
14-005707: Suicide Attempt—Lopez deputies responded to a report of a male adult who attempt to harm himself. The male was treated by EMS and a Mental Health Professional was contacted.

14-005714: Traffic Crime—An Orcas deputy stopped a vehicle, driven by an adult male, for a badly damaged windshield. A check of the driver’s status revealed the driver’s license was suspended.

1400-5736: Vehicle Prowl—An Orcas deputy took a report of a vehicle prowl that occurred earlier in the week. The vehicle was unlocked and not damaged. A small amount of paper currency was removed from the vehicle. There are no suspects at this time.

14-005753: Animal at Large—A Lopez deputy responded to Odlin Park on a loose dog complaint. The deputy learned this dog was repeatedly on the loose. The dog was friendly and the deputy transported the dog to the kennel pending pick up by the owners. The owners were given a Warning Letter.
