WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 4
23-007959 Disorderly Conduct 11:40:17 10/04/23
A San Juan Deputy made contact with an intoxicated individual who was yelling and causing a disturbance at the ferry landing. It was determined he was not yelling at anyone in particular. A report was made and forwarded to the courts for a probation violation.

23-007960 Wanted Person 12:27:29 10/04/23
A Deputy on San Juan Island took custody of an individual who was turning himself in on multiple criminal trespass warrants. The subject was arrested and booked into the San Juan County jail.

23-007962 Missing Person 12:45:08 10/04/23
A Lopez Deputy responded to a missing person call. The case was referred to a neighboring county.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 5
23-007989 Weapon Safekeeping 11:45:15 10/05/23
A Deputy was dispatched to a Safekeeping in the San Juan Island area. The person wished to turn over 3 weapons to the Sheriff’s Office to be destroyed. The Deputy recovered the weapons and entered them into evidence for destruction. Report taken.

23-007993 CPR ALS 12:09:17 10/05/23
Lopez Deputies and Lopez EMS responded when an individual was found not breathing in their home. EMS attempted to administer aid, but the individual had already passed away.

23-007992 Civil Problem 12:37:47 10/05/23
A Lopez individual reported his father selling his four-wheeler to cover rent expenses. The matter was determined to be civil.

23-008003 CPR ALS 20:34:58 10/05/23
San Juan Island Deputies were dispatched to a Death Investigation. Deputies investigated the scene, and the death appears to be of natural causes. Evan’s Funeral Home was contacted, and the incident was documented.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6
23-008007 Accident-NonInj 07:42:56 10/06/23
An Orcas Deputy responded to a non-injury, property damage only traffic collision that occurred on the 2700 block of Orcas Rd.

23-008016 Agency Assistance 13:30:06 10/06/23
At the request of a local mental health agency, Lopez Deputies took an individual into custody to be transported to a hospital for violating a court order.

23-008020 Domestic Dispute or Assault 15:08:00 10/06/23
Deputies on Orcas Island responded to a domestic incident involving a juvenile suspect. A report was forwarded to Juvenile Court Services.

23-008023 Traffic Violation 17:05:12 10/06/23
San Juan Island Deputies stopped a vehicle in Friday Harbor for speeding. After the arresting Deputy was spit on and struck in the face multiple times with a closed fist, the individual was tased and taken into custody. The individual was booked for several felony and misdemeanor charges.

23-008024 Domestic Dispute or Assault 17:30:07 10/06/23
A Deputy was dispatched to a Domestic in the San Juan Island area. The Deputy arrived and spoke with the people involved. One person was arrested for Assault 4th DV. Report taken.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7
23-008041 Accident-Injury, Traffic 18:40:02 10/07/23
San Juan Island Deputies were dispatched to an Accident-Injury involving a bicycle and a vehicle. As a bicyclist was making a turn onto another road when they were struck by a vehicle. The bicyclist refused medical treatment and a report was taken.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8
23-008049 Unwanted Person 08:45:55 10/08/23
A Lopez Deputy responded to a unwanted person call. A Lopez individual startled a neighbor when they came onto the neighbor’s property in search of a lost cat.

23-008054 Theft 12:01:18 10/08/23
A Deputy was contacted about a Theft. The person reported several crab pots had been stolen after being set. Report taken.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 9
23-008067 Domestic Dispute or Assault 07:52:03 10/09/23
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a report of a domestic dispute that occurred approximately an hour prior to the report. Based on testimony of the involved parties, it appears no crime had been committed.

23-008073 Threats 12:45:14 10/09/23
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a threats complaint. An investigation showed no crime had been committed.

23-008078 Animal Noise 16:05:49 10/09/23
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of animals being outside. The Deputy contacted the dog owner, who said that the dogs are well cared for and can be outside at times, because they are dogs. The owner was also provided with county noise ordinance information. A report was completed.

23-008081 Assault – Body Force 16:31:03 10/09/23
A Deputy on Orcas responded to an assault callback. The reporting party called in to report an assault that happened over a year ago. A report was taken.

23-008086 Vehicle Theft 17:07:51 10/09/23
A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of a vehicle theft. After an investigation, it was determined that the owner had known the vehicle was going to be sold prior to the sale of the vehicle. The matter was determined to be civil in nature. A report was completed.

23-008088 Domestic Dispute or Assault 18:53:35 10/09/23
Deputies on Orcas responded to a possible domestic in Eastsound. After an investigation was completed it was found to be a citizen dispute. A report was taken.

23-008092 Unconscious BLS 21:37:52 10/09/23
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded with EMS personnel to a suspected drug overdose. The individual was transported by EMS to the hospital for further care. A report was completed.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 10
23-008102 Abandoned Vehicle 09:37:01 10/10/23
An Orcas Island Deputy towed an abandoned vehicle from the 100 block of Lovers Lane.

23-008103 Vagrancy 10:54:00 10/10/23
An Orcas Island Deputy contacted a person about illegal camping, leaving a large amount of trash and personal items unattended on private and public property.

23-008121 Area Check 22:34:11 10/10/23
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a request for an area check at a local establishment. During the area check, the Deputy saw two individuals in the bar area, who have current alcohol conditions, and contacted them. The Deputy completed a report which was forwarded to probation.
