18-008183 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 09:53:05 10/24/18
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to the Eastsound area for a suspicious package. Upon arrival a taped up cardboard box was discovered. It was later determined that the box contained other boxes and was not an explosive device. The items were subsequently disposed of. A report was taken.
18-008185 Domestic Dispute or Assault 10:21:22 10/24/18
Deputies responded to a report of an active domestic in Friday Harbor. Upon arrival and interview with the involved parties the incident was found to be verbal only. Report made. No further investigation.
18-008186 Theft 10:36:10 10/24/18
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a theft call at a local business. The reporting party explained that property had been taken without permission from in front of their business. A report was taken. The investigation is ongoing.
18-008188 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 11:20:10 10/24/18
A Deputy responded to a suspicious call in Friday Harbor. Upon arrival it was found to be a found property call. The item was entered into the evidence room as found property and an information report made. No further investigation.

Deputies responded to a report of a wanted person. The subject was located and arrested on multiple warrants and several new charges.
18-008215 Threats 11:49:00 10/25/18
A Deputy responded to a threats report. The threats were not criminal in nature, and the incident was documented.
18-008224 Citizen Assist 15:45:56 10/25/18
A Deputy was dispatched to a citizen assist in Friday Harbor. An informational report was taken.
18-008230 Wanted Person 19:01:49 10/25/18
Deputies responded to a location that Wanted Person was on in Friday Harbor. The wanted person was taken in custody and transported to a holding cell to await arraignment.

A Lopez Island resident requested advice and assistance in getting a car back that had been loaned to a friend and was subsequently taken off island.

An Orcas Deputy responded to a Citizen Assist call near Olga. The person was given resources and help they needed.
18-008239 Mental Health 10:37:01 10/26/18
An Orcas Deputy conducted a welfare check on a reportedly mentally ill person.
18-008246 Citizen Assist 16:42:02 10/26/18
A Deputy was dispatched to a citizen assist in Friday Harbor. An informational report was taken.
18-008253 Traffic Violation 19:52:15 10/26/18
Deputies were dispatched to a traffic offense in Friday Harbor. The driver was located and taken in custody regarding another case where they were the suspect.
18-008256 Assault – Aggravated 23:20:57 10/26/18
A Deputy observed an incident in the Friday Harbor area. One person was arrested for Assault.

A Lopez Island Deputy assisted a disabled motorist in Lopez Village.
18-008263 Animal at Large 12:05:16 10/27/18
A Lopez Island Deputy was sent on a report of goats running at large, creating a traffic hazard. Upon arrival in the area, the goats were gone.
18-008264 Traffic Stop 12:15:22 10/27/18
A Deputy stopped a vehicle and arrested the driver on an outstanding warrant. The driver was also arrested for driving on a suspended driver’s license and issued an infraction for no insurance.

An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to an animal problem. The reporting party advised that a dog got into his sheep paddock and killed one of his animals. A report was taken, the investigation is ongoing.
18-008325 Juvenile Problem 23:52:53 10/29/18
A Deputy was contacted at the Sheriff’s office in reference to a Juvenile Problem. The caller advised that there was a problem with his daughter. Report taken.

An Orcas Deputy was dispatched to a citizen assist. The caller stated that on 10/27 her cat disappeared and believes a lot of cats are missing. She advised that she also got a suspicious phone call. She claimed that a business was working weird hours and thinks they may be up to illegal activity.
18-008346 Litter/Pollution/Public Health 17:23:18 10/30/18
An Orcas Deputy issued a notice of infraction for abandoning a vehicle at a local towing establishment.
18-008347 Welfare Check 17:57:10 10/30/18
A Deputy was dispatched to a Welfare Check in the San Juan Island area. Another agency was requesting a check on a person. The involved persons were contacted and report taken.
