A Deputy responded to a telephone report of a fraud that occurred outside of our jurisdiction in Arlington, WA. The information was gathered and an information report made so the individual could follow up with Arlington PD. No further investigation.

18-008651 Accident-HitRun 11:03:54 11/14/18
A Deputy responded to a delayed report of a hit and run that occurred on private property approximately three weeks prior. Information was gathered, there are no witnesses, video or workable leads, and a report was made for insurance. No further investigation.

18-008653 Malicious Mischief 11:44:20 11/14/18
An Orcas Island Deputy was contacted regarding a vandalism that had occurred. An investigation was conducted and an informational report was subsequently filed.

18-008658 Domestic Dispute or Assault 15:02:41 11/14/18
Deputies responded to a domestic between two sisters in Friday Harbor. The incident was found to be mutual between the two parties, the information was gathered, the parties separated, and a report was made.

18-008659 Wanted Person 16:30:45 11/14/18
A Lopez Island Deputy arrested a local resident on warrants issued by San Juan County District and Superior Courts, as well as a new charge of Driving While Suspended/Revoked 3rd. The subject was booked into jail pending appearance in court.

A Deputy on Orcas took a complaint of a threat made via email on Obstruction Island. The case is under further investigation.

A Lopez Island resident reported that someone had let the air out of his car’s tires sometime during the night. A report was taken.

A Lopez Island Deputy ticketed an unattended vehicle left in the ferry queue during the loading of the 9:30 ferry sailing to Anacortes.

A Deputy was dispatched to the San Juan Island area in reference to an Order Violation. The involved people were contacted and one person was arrested. Report taken.

A Lopez Island Deputy assisted a disabled motorist with a dead battery on Ferry Rd.

18-008749 Domestic Dispute or Assault 20:55:20 11/18/18
Orcas Island Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the Eastsound area. After investigation the incident was believed to be verbal in nature and no crimes had been committed. The parties were separated for the evening to help deescalate the situation. A report was taken.

A Deputy responded to a property dispute. The dispute was found to be civil.

A Deputy responded to a welfare check in Eastsound. A report of a concern of the mental wellbeing of a family member was reported. It was determined the subject of concern did not display a danger to himself or others. An informational report was completed.
