A Deputy was dispatched to a Residential Burglary in the San Juan Island area. The reporting Deputy contacted the caller. Several items were removed from an unlocked residence. Report taken.

21-004519 Domestic Dispute or Assault 17:57:29 06/01/21
Deputies responded to a domestic incident involving a juvenile. An investigation commenced.

21-004522 Animal at Large 19:08:11 06/01/21
A San Juan Deputy checked on a chronic neighbor complaint concerning animals. The Deputy spoke with all parties and issued a verbal warning to the dog owner for an animal-at-large violation.

A San Juan Deputy was detailed to an Agency Assist call at the Peace Island Medical Center. Information was taken and a report was filed. The issue remains an open investigation.

An Orcas Deputy responded to a citizen dispute in Eastsound. The incident was resolved and ended up being landlord and tenant civil matter.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a welfare check call. The subject was located and depressed, but not suicidal. The patient went to the hospital voluntarily.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a non-injury accident in Friday Harbor. The vehicle owner’s exchanged information and the incident was documented.

A Lopez Deputy responded to a theft call. Outdoor decorative lights were stolen from a property on Decatur Island. There are currently no suspects.

21-004553 Animal at Large 20:44:50 06/02/21
A Lopez Deputy responded to an animal at large call. A loose dog on School Road was returned to its owner and the owner was given a warning for animal at large.

21-004554 Overdose 21:29:33 06/02/21
A Deputy on Orcas was dispatched to a possible overdose call. The person was contacted and transported to Peace Island Medical Center for evaluation.

An Orcas Deputy conducted a civil standby at address in Eastsound.

A Lopez Deputy assisted a citizen who was attempting to manage an intoxicated sibling. The sibling was safely returned to their hotel room.

A citizen reported a possible attempted identity theft at a local business in Eastsound. An informational report was taken.

An Orcas Deputy responded to a report of harassment in the Eastsound area. An informational report was taken.

21-004597 Animal at Large 10:31:15 06/04/21
A Deputy was dispatched to a Dog at Large in the San Juan Island area. The reporting Deputy made contact with the people involved. Dog owner was issued an infraction for Dog at Large 3rd Offense.

I contacted the public school regarding at theft of a laptop by a student. The laptop was returned and report was taken.

21-004605 Runaway Juvenile 12:36:38 06/04/21
A Deputy was dispatched to a Runaway Juvenile in the San Juan Island area. The Deputy located the juvenile. the Deputy placed the juvenile in touch with other agencies. Report taken.

21-004611 Theft 14:55:41 06/04/21
A Deputy on Orcas was dispatched to a theft call on Orcas Road. The suspect was identified and a report was taken that will be forwarded on to the prosecutor’s office.

21-004612 Mental Health 15:06:32 06/04/21
Lopez Deputies responded to multiple calls of a mentally ill man who was causing multiple disturbances in the village. The man aggressively resisted attempts to lawfully detain him. He was booked into jail for obstruction. A mental health evaluation was scheduled.

21-004620 Domestic Dispute or Assault 19:28:14 06/04/21
Deputies on Orcas were dispatched to a possible domestic near Map Corner. After an investigation was completed it was determined that it was verbal only and a report was taken.

21-004624 Assault – Body Force 21:42:07 06/04/21
San Juan Deputies responded to a neighbor dispute that had escalated to a physical fight. One party was treated at PIMC for their injuries, the other was arrested for felony assault.

21-004626 Trespassing 22:12:43 06/04/21
A Lopez Deputy responded to a trespassing call. Three teenagers were playing piano in a church after hours. An unknown person knocked on the church door, which spooked them. Upon investigation, the person who knocked was a church board member who wanted to remind them of curfew policies.

SATURDAY, JUNE 5
21-004628 Vagrancy 07:30:11 06/05/21
A Lopez Island Deputy was called about a subject found sleeping on the sidewalk outside a local business as they prepared to open for the day. The subject was awakened and asked to move along.

21-004638 Theft 12:24:20 06/05/21
A Lopez Island Deputy took a report of the theft of a road name sign. Public Works was notified of the theft.

An Orcas Deputy received a statement from a citizen that wanted it included in an information report.

An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a missing person complaint. A report was taken. The investigation is ongoing.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a Mental call. The Deputy located the male at issue and determined he was experiencing suicidal thoughts. The male was transported to the hospital for treatment.

A Lopez Island Deputy arrested a driver for DUI after a single vehicle crash into a deep ditch.

21-004673 Found Property 20:32:37 06/06/21
A Lopez business turned in a wallet that was found in their store. A Deputy located the owner and returned the wallet.

MONDAY, JUNE 7
21-004680 Accident-HitRun 09:28:59 06/07/21
A Deputy was dispatched to a Hit and Run Unattended in the San Juan Island area. The person involved believed the vehicle had been damaged a couple of days earlier. Photos of the vehicle were taken with a report.

21-004693 Parking Problem 15:10:35 06/07/21
A Lopez Island Deputy ticketed a vehicle that was left unattended in the ferry line during the loading of the 2:40 sailing to Anacortes.
