18-005055 Animal at Large 06:46:53 07/18/18
A Lopez Island woman picked up a dog sitting in the middle of the road on her way to work, and called deputies for help finding the owner. The owner was quickly identified and the dog returned.

18-005058 Abandoned Vehicle 08:02:13 07/18/18
A Lopez Island resident called deputies regarding a vehicle left blocking their driveway. The vehicle owner arrived soon thereafter and removed the vehicle.

18-005065 Burglary – Residential 13:10:42 07/18/18
A Deputy was dispatched to a Residential Burglary in Friday Harbor. Upon investigation the deputy was told that nothing was taken. No suspect description or further information at this time.

18-005078 Trouble Unknown 05:07:59 07/19/18
A Lopez Island deputy responded to a reported intruder inside a residence in the early morning hours. Upon checking the house, there was no evidence that anyone had been inside.

An Orcas Deputy responded to a theft call near the ferry landing. A report was taken. No suspects at this time.

18-005093 Welfare Check 13:50:04 07/19/18
A Lopez deputy performed a welfare check on a local person, who was found to be in good condition and in contact with services to further assist her.

18-005097 Traffic Hazard 16:07:01 07/19/18
San Juan deputies were advised of a citizen complaint of aggressive driving. A report was taken.

San Juan deputies were dispatched to a report of threats. An investigation was completed and a report was generated.

18-005116 Property Damage, Non Vandalism 15:35:09 07/20/18
A Deputy received a report of property damage and an informational report was
taken.

18-005117 Theft 15:56:57 07/20/18
A deputy was dispatched to a Theft in the Friday Harbor area. The caller reported the theft of a bike. A report was taken.

18-005127 Animal Bite 20:08:41 07/20/18
A Lopez Island Deputy responded to Spencer’s State Park for a dog bite complaint. The involved people and dogs were all camping together. Lopez EMS responded as well and treated the injured person, who subsequently traveled to the mainland for additional care for his wound. A report was completed.

18-005155 Domestic Dispute or Assault 11:23:05 07/21/18
Deputies responded to a domestic dispute in Eastsound. After further investigation it was determined that a verbal argument occurred and no crime was committed. A report was written.

18-005172 Citizen Assist 20:26:47 07/21/18
A Lopez Island Deputy responded to a Lopez business after a patron became verbally abusive with the store owner after the patron’s dog became aggressive toward a fellow patron’s child. A report was completed.

18-005183 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 08:44:51 07/22/18
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a reported domestic disturbance at a local business that had occurred the prior night. When the deputy arrived both parties had left.

18-005184 Trespassing 09:36:28 07/22/18
A Deputy responded to a walk in report of a trespassing in Friday Harbor. A trespass letter was completed and will be served as soon as the subject is located. Information report made.

18-005187 Accident-HitRun 10:48:11 07/22/18
A Lopez Island deputy was called to investigate a hit and run with property damage at the Lopez Island School. A vehicle struck part of the school building, damaging both the vehicle and the building and fled. A report was taken.

18-005191 Accident-HitRun 12:57:45 07/22/18
A Deputy responded to a report of a Hit & Run Accident on private property in Friday Harbor. Upon arrival it was determined that the elderly driver who left didn’t realize he backed into a car. The accident was found to be a non reportable accident & the striking driver was cited for no insurance.

18-005192 Trespassing 13:00:58 07/22/18
A Lopez Island resident requested that a subject be trespassed from their home and property. The subject was contacted and the trespass warning notice served.

18-005197 Traffic Stop 16:23:59 07/22/18
A Deputy on Orcas stopped a driver for driving with a suspended driver’s license. The driver was arrested for DWLS 3rd Degree, possession of a dangerous weapon and issued an infraction for no insurance.

18-005200 Civil Problem 17:57:05 07/22/18
A Lopez deputy was contacted regarding a trade of two automobiles that occurred without any of the proper paperwork and documentation. The person was referred to civil court for this non-criminal matter.

18-005203 Assault – Body Force 18:59:21 07/22/18
A Deputy on Orcas responded to an assault. A report was taken.

18-005204 Vehicle Theft 19:03:18 07/22/18
A Lopez deputy was contacted regarding a theft of a vehicle from a local resort parking lot. The deputy located the vehicle parked on resort property.

18-005221 Found Property 10:00:04 07/23/18
A Lopez Island man reported a dingy had possibly washed up on a Lopez Island beach. The vessel it belongs to was identified and efforts to locate the owner are underway.

18-005237 Court Order Violation 15:32:27 07/23/18
A deputy was contacted in reference to an Order Violation. The caller provided details about the incident. Report Taken.

18-005246 Found Property 17:48:30 07/23/18
A found purse was turned in to a Lopez deputy. Attempts were made to locate the off island owner.

18-005259 Traffic Stop 20:43:13 07/23/18
An Orcas Island Deputy stopped a vehicle on Enchanted Forest Rd. The driver was subsequently issued infractions for speed, passing in a no passing zone, and arrested for DUI. The vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant. The investigation is ongoing.

A deputy was dispatched to a Trespassing on San Juan Island. The reporting deputy arrived and arrested one person for trespassing. Report was taken.

18-005262 Noise Complaint /not dogs 23:39:51 07/23/18
A Lopez deputy responded to a noise complaint at a marina. The reveler’s dispersed when asked to do so.

18-005272 Welfare Check 12:21:16 07/24/18
Deputies responded to a welfare check in Friday Harbor. Deputies spoke with two people at the residence and found everything appeared to be normal. Information report made.

18-005286 Traffic Hazard 16:00:52 07/24/18
An Orcas deputy responded to a report of a vehicle partially parked in the roadway. The vehicle was located and a parking ticket was issued.

18-005293 Medical BLS 22:57:09 07/24/18
Deputies were called to the jail to handle a possible medical issue with an inmate. The duty paramedic responded and cleared the inmate fit for jail.
