A Deputy was dispatched to a report of theft in Friday Harbor. After further investigation Probable Cause was found for three suspects for Theft 2nd Degree.

A Friday Harbor Deputy responded to a delayed report of a possible fraud. It was determined that there was no loss incurred, the reporting party had already notified the credit agencies, and an information report was made. No further investigation needed.

A Lopez Island Deputy ticketed a loaded boat trailer left parked illegally on Islandale Rd near Tekoa, blocking a lane of travel on a curve near the intersection.

Orcas Island Deputies were dispatched along with Orcas Island Fire & Rescue to a motor vehicle accident in the Eastsound area. Once treated for minor injuries the driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was arrested for DUI. The vehicle was impounded. Report to follow.

Deputies and EMS responded to a man in the water off Lopez island. The man was outside of his boat with no personal floatation devices (PFD) available. The man was evaluated by EMS on shore and issued an infraction for failing to have a PFD available for use.

An Orcas Deputy responded to a runaway juvenile call near Eastsound. A pick-up notice was signed by the parent as the whereabouts of the child is unknown.

A Lopez Deputy investigated a complaint of a hit and run collision to a parked vehicle. This incident likely occurred in the grocery store parking lot on 7/3.

San Juan Deputies responded to an assault at the ferry landing. The suspect was arrested for assault in the fourth degree and weapons apparently capable of producing bodily harm.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a trespasser. The suspect was located and arrested for trespassing 2nd degree, assault 4th degree and resisting arrest.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a report of an intoxicated man sleeping outside a business. The subject was contacted. He left the area voluntarily and on foot.

A Deputy recognized a suspect who had a warrant for his arrest in Eastsound. The suspect was arrested, transported to Friday Harbor and booked into the San Juan County Jail without incident.

A Lopez Deputy was advised of deceased sea lion on a southend private beach. The sea lion had been dead for quite some time and was moving with the tide. No further action was required.
