A Lopez Island Deputy responded to a vehicle in the ditch complaint on Ferry Rd during a snowstorm. The vehicle was unoccupied and there was no evidence of injury or damage to the vehicle. The owner subsequently removed the vehicle. A report was completed.

A Lopez Island Deputy was sent to check on a vehicle that was stuck in the snow blocking an intersection. The owner was in the process of removing the vehicle when the Deputy arrived. No further action was necessary.

A Lopez Island Deputy was sent to check on a report of a vehicle that had slid off a snow covered road and become stuck stranding two people with the vehicle. The vehicle was gone when the Deputy arrived in the area. No further action was necessary.

A complainant called the Sheriff’s office to report ongoing harassment by a family member. No crime was committed. The caller was provided instructions to obtain a no-contact order.

A Lopez Island Deputy was called about concerns about safety conditions from the recent snowfall on a private road on the island.

A Lopez Island Deputy checked a snowmobile that had been parked on the shoulder of Center Rd for three days and tagged it as abandoned, pending impound if not removed within 24 hours. It was removed within two hours. No further action is necessary.

A part time Lopez resident reported seeing footprints in the snow around his house on the security video system. Upon arrival, the Deputy found deer in the yard, and all the tracks in the yard were animal in origin. The house was secure. No further action was necessary.
