Lopez Deputies responded when a driver at the ferry terminal backed into and destroyed a porta-potty. Luckily, no one was using the toilet when the destruction occurred. The driver was issued infractions for negligent driving and driving without proof of insurance. The involved vehicle was towed.

A Deputy on Orcas was dispatched to a report of two pit bulls running loose on the Turtleback Mountain trail. The owner arrived to corral the dogs, and a warning letter was issued.

San Juan Aid was dispatched to an unresponsive person in the Friday Harbor area. The person was confirmed deceased. Deputies arrived and investigated the incident. Report taken.

Orcas Deputies were dispatched to a Harassment call in the Olga area. After an investigation, a male subject was arrested for Assault 1st, Harassment, and Stalking. He was transported to San Juan Island and booked into jail pending a hearing with the judge.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a domestic incident. No crime was committed. The incident was documented.

A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of a lost bag and laptop. The reporting party stated the last time they saw it was in their vehicle in town the evening prior, they also reported that there was no obvious forced entry into their vehicle. A report was completed.
