An Orcas Deputy responded to a citizen dispute on the 100 block of Osprey Ln. All parties were contacted, and it was determined to be a problem with loose dogs and good neighbor issues. No crime was committed. Several No Trespass Warning Letters were issued, and a report authored.

A Deputy was contacted about an Order Violation in the San Juan Island area. The person reported that another person was making comments about them on the internet. There is a Court Order between the involved people. Report taken.

Deputies were dispatched to a Dog Bite in the San Juan Island area. It was reported that a child had been bitten by a family dog. The child received medical attention. Report taken.

A Lopez Deputy responded to a vandalism report at the Golf Course. Sometime during the night, a vehicle left circular tire tracks on the green near one of the holes. The matter is under investigation.

A Deputy on San Juan Island reviewed a boat accident report that was mailed to the Sheriff’s Office. The boat accident occurred on 7-10-24. There was substantial damage to the vessel and no injuries were reported.

A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of a non-aggravated assault at the Orca Inn. The reporting party did not wish to pursue the matter criminally, rather they wanted the individual trespassed. The individual left the scene on foot, attempts to locate them were made.
