August 13, 2014
14-004862: On August 13, 2014 Deputy contacted homeowner on San Juan Island concerning a reported Trespassing. A male subject came to the property to discuss an alleged problem that could not be proven.
14-004863: On August 13, 2014 a Deputy responded to a reported Vandalism. After the investigation it was determine the damage to the car window was caused by flying debris from weed eater.
14-004872: On August 13, 2014 deputies responded to the area of the fairgrounds in Friday Harbor on a reported dog bite and aggressive dogs. Deputies had to deploy a Taser at the dog as he rushed toward the deputy. The animal was not injured.
August 15, 2014
14-004910: On August 15, 2014 a deputy responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on Orcas Island. The vehicle was recovered a day later. No suspects at this time.
14-004911: On August 15, 2014 a deputy responded to a reported Residential Burglary on San Juan Island. Prescription medications were reported missing.
August 16, 2014
14-004930: On August 16, 2014 a deputy responded to a reported altercation at Golf Course on Lopez Island. Two male subjects were allegedly involved in a physical altercation. When the deputy arrived neither party wanted to press charges against the other
14-00493:- On August 16, 2014 a deputy responded to a reported Burglary at the Orcas Elementary School. The school building was entered, unknown how, and then several interior doors were pried open. Further investigation required.
14-004935: On August 16, 2014 a deputy responded to a parking problem. While in route to the location the deputy received information the vehicle was the stolen vehicle (14-004910). The vehicle was recovered and towed.
August 17, 2014
14-004957: On August 17, 2014 deputies responded to a reported assault on Lopez Island. When they arrived, the suspect had left the area. The suspect had knocked on the door and then without permission entered the residence. When asked to leave by the property owner, the suspect “shoved him” and then left. Deputies attempted to locate the unidentified suspect without success.
August 18, 2014
14-004992: On August 18, 2014 while a deputy was conducting a check of the Orcas school grounds with a member of the maintenance staff they discovered the Band room door had been pried open and a computer was taken. This continues the series of burglaries at the school grounds.
14-004998: On August 18, 2014 a deputy responded to the Outlook Inn wedding chapel area on the reported theft of a generator. The investigation is ongoing.
14-005004: On August 18, 2014 a Lopez deputy responded to the call of an animal problem. A dog escaped its enclosure and chase and reportedly bite another dog. The owners of both animals engaged in a verbal dispute
