San Juan Deputies were notified of a probation violation. The incident was documented and forwarded to the proper agency.

A Lopez Island Deputy took a delayed report of a non injury rear end traffic collision that had occurred yesterday on Mud Bay Rd near Cousins Rd S involving 2 vehicles.

San Juan Deputies conducted an agency assist. A probation violation was noted and documented.

19-002334 Wanted Person 18:51:49 04/03/19
A Deputy arrested a Friday Harbor man on an active warrant issued out of San Juan County District Court and for Violation of a DV No Contact Order. The male was booked into jail on these charges awaiting a hearing. Report made.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a harassment complaint. Both parties were contacted. There was insufficient evidence to prove any crime had been committed.

A Lopez Deputy assisted in a civil dispute regarding a landlord / tenant issue.

A Deputy on San Juan responded to a noise complaint. The subjects were advised of the county noise ordinance.

A Lopez Deputy accepted a firearm accessory for destruction and disposal.

A Lopez Deputy checked on possible vandalism to a driveway gate. The gate was not secured into the ground and had simply collapsed under its own weight.

19-002389 Animal at Large 18:44:21 04/05/19
A Deputy responded to a dog at large complaint in the area of Dill. The reporting person stated he saw three dogs chasing a deer on his property. The dogs and dog owner were located and the Deputy issued the dog owner a ticket for Dog At Large 1st Offense.

Deputies responded to a single vehicle collision into a tree. The driver was issued an infraction for no insurance, passenger under 20 violation, and wheels off roadway.

A Lopez Island Deputy was called to the ferry terminal on a domestic disturbance occurring in the parking lot. Upon investigation it was determined that the altercation was strictly verbal, and no crime had been committed. A report was taken and all parties went on their separate ways.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a citizen assist call. The citizen was contacted. Advice and assistance was rendered.

San Juan Deputies responded to a citizen assist. A transient male was parking in a local business parking lot without permission after previously being asked to desist. The subject was trespassed from the property.

A Lopez Island Deputy was called to a parking problem/traffic hazard involving an unlawfully parked truck. The owner was contacted who agreed to move the vehicle.

An off island property owner requested an area check of their land for possible trespassers. None were located.

A Deputy was dispatched to a Threats call in the San Juan Island area. The person reporting the incident was contacted and a report taken.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a theft complaint. The suspect was identified and arrested. The victim’s property was recovered.

Orcas Island Deputies responded to a hit and run accident in the Eastsound area. The investigation is ongoing.

A Deputy was dispatched to the San Juan Island area in reference to a Dog Bite. Report taken.

A Deputy contacted a Wanted Subject in Friday Harbor. The subject was taken in custody for their Warrant.

A Deputy responded to a medical call in Friday Harbor. Patient was transported to the hospital.

A Deputy was dispatched to a report of gun fire in Friday Harbor. Deputy contacted property owner and they were warned and given a copy of the San Juan County Noise Ordinance.

A Lopez Island Deputy was called to do a welfare check on a subject whose family had not been able to reach him for a couple of days.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a littering complaint. The reporting party was contacted. The littering turned out to be logs from trees that had fallen in the road during the recent wind storms. No further action was required.
