After years of collaboration, the San Juan County Parks, Recreation & Fair Department wants to give thanks to the Lopez Community Trails Network as they disband

As the Lopez Community Trails Network (LCTN) announces its closure, the San Juan County Parks, Recreation & Fair Department wishes to acknowledge and celebrate the collaboration between our organizations regarding both the construction and maintenance of trail projects in multiple Lopez Island County parks. Network members and volunteers assisted with various trail projects including the Shark Reef trail addition and the Overlook Trail at Odlin, all while helping with the general upkeep of County Park trails on Lopez Island since 2009. Lopez Island Parks Manager, Joe Ingman, shared, “The volunteers with the Lopez Community Trails Network have shared their hard work to create legacy lasting trail experiences in county parks on Lopez Island. We couldn’t be more grateful for all that they’ve shared.”
The San Juan County Parks, Recreation, and Fair Departments wants to acknowledge the lasting impact that the LCTN has made on Lopez Island for all San Juan County residents .
